She was a lifetime educator in Lake County, having been everything from a teacher to a principal. She will always be remembered for her passion, smile, and encouraging attitude. She is survived by her son James Knauss II and wife Marci. Grandson James III, wife Hannah, great grandson James IV. Grandson Matt Knauss, wife Katie, and great grandson Mason. Grandson Mark Knauss, wife Blake, and great granddaughter Peyton. Brother Kemp Conn and wife Patty. Step-son Jack Cassidy, wife Francine, and great grandsons Braxton and Brayden. She was widowed from her husband Joe Cassidy, and is survived by stepson Jack Cassidy, wife Francine, grandchildren Braxton and Brayden. Stepson Jeff Cassidy and wife Rose. She was loved by all her family, as well as all her friends, and young women and men she taught, coached and led in Lake County.
